Executive Committee consists of the chairman, vice chairman, treasurer and secretary.

Goal: To provide an administrative structure for a cohesive Main Street Program promoting active membership, community support and awareness.

Design Committee consists of volunteer members which meet monthly.

Goal: To improve the physical and visual structure and image of the downtown core area. To provide consultation and guidance on all graphic presentations originating from the Main Street Office.

Projects: Historic Home and Building Tour, Facade Grant Fun, Downtown Clean Up Days, Design Awards, Downtown Streetscape Design.

Organization Committee (Community Outreach) consists of volunteers which meet monthly.

Goal: To provide communication, volunteer and leadership development and fundraising, attract and retain membership to provide a financial support base for the Ponca City Main Street Program and its stated goals of creating a viable, progressive and attractive downtown district.

Projects: Main Street Week Celebration, Membership Drive, Awards Banquet, Welcome Baskets, Volunteer Appreciation Activities.

Promotions Committee consists of volunteers of three subcommittees which meet monthly.

Goal: To promote activities in terms of image, retail development and special events within the downtown area.

A. Image Campaign
Goal: To successfully develop and market the "image" of the downtown district through public relations, media releases, newsletter, brochures, speakers bureau, and a proactive membership.

B. Retail Activity
Goal: To provide education in conjunction with a positive marketing approach in the retention, development and recruitment of retail to the central business district.

C. Special Events:
Goal: To develop and implement a well coordinated program of retail and special events for the citizens of the city and surrounding area.

Projects: IrisFest, Birthday Bash, Halloween Carnival, Hometown Holiday Weekend, Window Decorating Contests, Cable and Radio Commercials.

Economic Restructuring Committee consists of volunteer members which meet monthly.

Goal: To actively participate in Ponca City's downtown economic development effort and assist current down businesses in their success. The committee acts on these goals by (1) maintaining and improving the vitality and marketability of the downtown area, and (2) promoting the downtown area as a relocation and expansion site to prospective businesses.

Projects: Webpage Design for Business Members, Business Consultation, Business Recruitment and Retention, Coffee & Conversation Merchant Meetings.
